What are the common pressure sensors? What is the role?

1, Strain pressure sensor
Strain gauge pressure sensor A sensor that measures pressure primarily by measuring the strain of an elastic element. According to the different materials, the strain elements are divided into metal and semiconductor. When a conductor and a semiconductor material are mechanically deformed, their resistance values change.
2, Piezoresistive pressure sensor
Piezoresistive pressure sensor is a kind of sensor which is made by using piezoresistive effect of monocrystalline silicon material and integrated circuit. When the monocrystalline silicon material is subjected to a force, the resistivity will change, and an electrical signal proportional to the force change will be output through the measurement circuit. Different from the stick-on strain gauge, the pressure measured is mainly felt through the silicon diaphragm.
3, Capacitive pressure sensor
Capacitive pressure sensors mainly use capacitors, and convert the measured pressure into a pressure sensor with a changed capacitance value. The electrode of the capacitor selects a round metal film or a gold-plated film. When the film feels the pressure and deforms, the capacitance changes and an electrical signal is formed.
4, Piezoelectric pressure sensor
Piezoelectric pressure sensor adopts the piezoelectric effect, and uses electrical components and other machinery to convert pressure into electricity, and then carries out related measurement work.
The role of pressure sensors
1, Applied to safety control system
Pressure sensors are often used in safety control systems, mainly in the field of air compressor's own safety management system. There are many sensor applications in the field of safety control, and it is not surprising that pressure sensors, as a very common sensor, are used in safety control systems.
In the field of safety control, the application is generally considered from the performance aspect, from the consideration of price, and from the safety and convenience of actual operation, and it has been proved that the effect of selecting pressure sensors is very good. The pressure sensor uses the machining technology of mechanical equipment to install some components and signal regulators and other devices on a small chip. So the small size is also one of its advantages, in addition, the cheap price is also another big advantage. To some extent, it can improve the accuracy of system testing. In the safety control system, the pressure brought by the compressor is controlled to a certain extent by installing a pressure sensor in the pipeline equipment of the air outlet, which is a certain protective measure and a very effective control system. When the compressor starts normally, if the pressure value does not reach the upper limit, then the controller will open the air intake to adjust the equipment to reach the maximum power.
2, Applied to injection mold
Pressure sensor plays an important role in injection mold. The pressure sensor can be installed in the nozzle of the injection molding machine, the hot runner system, the cold runner system and the mold cavity, and it can measure the plastic pressure somewhere between the nozzle of the injection molding machine and the mold cavity during the injection, filling, pressure holding and cooling process.
3, Used to monitor mine pressure
Sensor technology is one of the key technologies of mine pressure monitoring.
