Vishay will exhibit the latest mesh and tape-wound resistors

     Vishay's GRE1, GRE2 and GRE3 series grid resistors are suitable for pre-charging and discharging capacitors, dynamic braking, load testing, heaters and neutral ground applications in locomotives, harmonic filters, renewable energy and industrial systems. The device has a power class of 36kW at +40C, operating temperatures up to +415C, resistance ranges from 0.02Q to 240Ω, tolerances of ±10%, and inductance from 5uH to 150pH. The resistors are double-sided insulation with the highest cooling efficiency and can be installed in IP00, IP20 and IP23 grade housings for use in indoor and outdoor conditions.

     The RBEF/RBSF series of tape-wound resistors are ideal for pulse applications and meet the requirements of heavy loads in space-constrained systems. High resistance reliability, all-welded construction with high temperature resistant silicone or enamel coating. The resistors are available in power classes from 40W to 2kW and from 0.0100 to 525Ω with simple hardware and can be mounted open on a stand or in a shielded or outdoor grade sealed housing.

     The NGR series devices feature a robust, weather-resistant IP23-rated housing that operates at +760C. The resistors provide ground fault, overvoltage and short circuit protection for generators and transformers with Y(star) connections without exceeding IEEE-32 temperature limits, line center point voltages up to 8kV, system voltages up to 13.8kV, and current classes up to 1000A. The device is also specially designed on site to eliminate floating voltages during assembly.
