Vishay introduces the industry's first new ultra-thin dual-chip inductor that operates at 155 ° C

     Vishay announces the first device in its IHLD family of ultra-thin, high-current dual-chip inductors, the iHRD-4032KB-5A. The automotive Electronics standard certified device combines two inductors in a 4032 package and is the industry's first dual-chip inductor capable of operating at +155 ° C.

     Vishay Dale inductors are suitable for automotive and commercial Class D amplifier circuits, where they reduce the need for board space and outperform solutions that use multiple discrete inductors. The optimized design of the IHLD-4032KB-5A enables high quality sound, low distortion, and minimal cross-talk by reducing coupling between inductors.

     The inductor is manufactured using IHLP technology and is certified by AEC-Q200. The maximum DCR is 32.6mΩ ~ 107mΩ, the inductance is from 10μH to 33μH, the rated current is 5.6A, and the frequency range is up to 1MHz. The device can handle high transient current spikes without saturation, maintaining good inductance and saturation temperature stability over its operating range. The IHLD-4032KB-5A is manufactured in a 100% lead-free, shielded composite structure package with a specified operating temperature range of -55 ° C to +155 ° C, and has strong resistance to thermal shock, moisture, mechanical shock and vibration.
