Integra Optics has announced the launch of its 10G SFP+ transceiver, which has a transmission range of 120 km. It was developed to provide outstanding performance and reliability for metro Ethernet transport and access networks without the need for amplification.
The new transceiver is designed to provide seamless connectivity over long distances, supporting data rates of 10Gbps over single-mode fiber (SMF). Its advanced design and powerful features enable it to revolutionize long-distance network communication.
The transceiver supports transmission distances of up to 120 kilometers (74 miles) at a data rate of 10Gbps via single-mode fiber, eliminating the need for expensive and complex amplification. It complies with the industry standard SFP+ Multi-Source Protocol (MSA) and has a wide range of compatibility with existing network devices.
It can also operate efficiently in the commercial temperature range of 0 ° C to 70 ° C (32 ° F to 158 ° F), making it ideal for a variety of environments. The transceiver provides coding that is compatible with multiple platforms, ensuring seamless integration into existing networks, increasing flexibility and ease of deployment.
