The new IP67 FAKRA rear-mounted bulkhead plugs support larger diameter cables
Amphenol RF expands its broad FAKRA connector portfolio to include a new sealed IP67 direct-voltage plug option designed specifically for industry standard TFC 302LL cables. The 50 ohm FAKRA plug provides reliable high-frequency data transmission up to 6GHz. Standard direct compression module terminates connector to cable. It joins the powerful FAKRA connector and cable assembly products as an off-the-shelf solution.
Amphenol RF has introduced a new IP67 FAKRA direct-pressure rear mounting bulkhead plug into its extensive automotive and industrial product portfolio. The plug is designed to support TFC 302LL and similar cable types, providing reliable mechanical and electrical performance and low loss capability. This FAKRA plug is color-coded and mechanically key for easy installation, and is available in a variety of key codes, including the universal Z code. These interconnects are ideal for automotive and industrial automation applications such as sensor integration, automatic detection, and vehicle communication networks.
The rear-mounted bulkhead feature enables the connector to be installed through a panel or enclosure wall, providing a stable and secure connection point. The plug is sealed in both mating and non-mating states to ensure that no contaminants enter. Gaskets seal the interfaces inside, while O-rings seal between the flanges and panel mounts for extra security. FAKRA plugs feature a rugged, high-performance plastic housing, nickel-plated die-cast zinc alloy body and flanges. It also comes with a gold-plated, brass center contact and nickel-plated, copper sleeve.
