The Samsung ARTIK module family uses SILICON LABS 'best-in-class multi-protocol wireless GECKO technology

     Silicon Labs has announced a partnership with Samsung Electronics to provide wireless modules for the Internet of Things (IoT) for edge node battery-powered devices. The new SAMSUNG ARTIK™ 0 module family is based on Silicon Labs' low-power, multi-protocol wireless Gecko system-on-chip (SoC) with an ARM® Cortex®-M4 processor. The SAMSUNG ARTIK™020 module includes Silicon Labs' Bluetooth® low power software stack, and the SAMSUNG ARTIK™030 module uses Silicon Labs' ZigBee and Thread mesh networking stack. Ideal for space-constrained applications, these small size modules (13 mm x 15 mm) integrate all the necessary components, including antennas, to simplify the RF design process.

     The SAMSUNG ARTIK platform is a fully integrated chip-to-cloud solution that helps iot developers accelerate their product development process, shorten time to market, and lower the total cost of ownership for their iot products. In addition, from device to hub to cloud and data management, the SAMSUNG ARTIK platform provides world-class security.
