Texas Instruments ESD752 and ESD762 dual channel ESD protection diodes

Texas Instruments ESD752 and ESD762 dual-channel ESD protection diodes are designed for use in USB Power Transfer (USB-PD) and industrial interfaces. ESD752 and ESD762 are designed to dissipate contact ESDs that meet or exceed the maximum level specified in IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 standards (±30kV or ±20kV contact and ±30kV or ±20kV air gap).

Adopt two kinds of lead package, can easily achieve straight through wiring. Low dynamic resistance and clamp voltage provide system-level protection for transient events. This protection is critical because industrial systems require high levels of robustness and reliability.

TI ESD752 and ESD762 dual-channel ESD protection diodes feature low IO capacitance per channel and a pin arrangement that provides two IO lines to prevent damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transients. The ESD752's IPP = 5.7A (8/20µs surge waveform) capability makes it suitable for protecting USB VBUS and industrial I/O lines from transient surge events. In addition, the ESD752 and ESD762's 3pF or 1.7pF line capacitors are suitable for protecting low-speed signals for USB power transmission and IO signals for industrial applications.
