STMicroelectronics releases new smartphone and tablet apps that bring new features to amp design selection

     STMicroelectronics has released the latest version of its ST OPAMPS mobile application (ST-OpAMps-APP). New software features simplify the use of ST's analog signal conditioning products and help designers find important product information faster. The new application covers all of ST's operational amplifiers, comparators, current detection products, power amplifiers and high speed amplifiers. Users can classify, compare and screen components according to electrical parameters.

     The Product Comparison tool is a very useful feature among many new features, and users can quickly find a similar feature of ST products by entering any op amp model. Another new feature is the ability to view 3D package data directly, so developers can directly determine mechanical parameters in product design without having to search product data sheets. A new feature, "My Favorites," allows users to save information about their most frequently used components for quick reference later.

     To further improve design convenience and product usability, the STMicroelectronics ST Op Amps application has an offline database that allows you to continue using the software even if you don't have access to the Internet. Other features that help developers complete routine design tasks quickly and efficiently include interactive schematics and component recommendations, as well as a component parameter value calculation engine.
