Qorvo's ultra-wideband (UWB) portfolio introduces the first fully integrated low-power SoC

     Qorvo, the world's leading provider of connectivity and power solutions, announced the launch of its first fully integrated low-power ultra-wideband (UWB) system-on-chip (SoC), the QM35825, further expanding its UWB portfolio. This high-performance, ultra-low-power SoC leverages radar-based sensing technology to enable precise location tracking for applications such as automated presence detection, home security access, contactless vital signs monitoring, and personalized content experiences.

     Thanks to Qorvo's more than a decade of expertise in the UWB field, the QM35825 achieves an impressive 104dBm link budget and features on-chip artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) processing capabilities to significantly improve ranging accuracy and stability. Based on a developer-centric architecture, the new solution provides easy-to-access apis that ensure smooth integration with the existing ecosystem and accelerate the deployment of innovative UWB applications.

     The QM35825 is currently being shipped to key customers and leading network infrastructure providers, demonstrating Qorvo's commitment to advancing UWB technology with industry-leading performance. To support emerging application scenarios, Qorvo has built a strong partner ecosystem of more than 30 companies and an active technical forum to facilitate collaboration. The QM35825 evaluation and development kit will be available from June through Qorvo distributors worldwide. The suite includes complete configurable software packages, as well as sample applications and developer tools.
