Pasternack introduces phase-locked oscillators that offer six single output frequencies
Pasternack has introduced a new line of phase locked oscillators (PLOs) that provide accurate and stable output frequencies with low phase noise and clutter performance, making them ideal for radar and other radiator or frequency generation applications. Typical uses for this new family of products include phase-locked loops, frequency synthesizers, function generators, and as a local oscillator source for receivers and transmitters.
The new phase-locked oscillator comes in 20 different models and offers six popular fixed output frequencies of 50MHz, 100MHz, 500MHz, 1000MHz, 2000MHz, 4000MHz and 6000MHz. Typical properties of these phase-locked oscillator products include: excellent phase noise of -105dBc/Hz at 10KHz bias; +7dBm buffer output power level; Low second harmonics and clutter suppression levels of -25 DBC and -70 DBC, respectively. In addition, these new products feature external frequency benchmarks of 10MHz or 100MHz, as well as TTL lock detection outputs that indicate loss-of-lock conditions.
All of these phase-locked oscillator products are RoHS compliant and can operate over the entire temperature range from -30 ° C to +70 ° C. In addition, it uses a single DC positive voltage supply and is available in two packages with SMA connectors and compact surface mount. Among them, the SMA connector type package is nickel-plated package, and has DC offset pin and signal pin and integrated mounting base plate; The surface-mount package features a gold-coated nickel mounting surface and downloadable Gerber file software that optimizes mounting sizes. These phase-locked oscillators are robust in construction and can withstand the stringent environmental test conditions of MIL-STD-202 shock and vibration.
"Our extensive new line of phase-locked oscillators offers designers a wide range of precise, stable and popular fixed output frequencies. These 20 innovative designs are key components in many navigation, monitoring, communications or test and measurement systems." "Explains Tim Galla, Product Manager.
