New medical grade coil power cord

     L-com has introduced a new medical-grade coil power cord. These cables are designed to eliminate unexpected disconnections and enable the mobility of critical equipment used in healthcare facilities, industrial environments, the food and beverage industry, PCS and servers, among others. The company offers more than a dozen new power cords in different configurations. These include HGN5-15 plugs to C13 straight connectors, C13 right Angle connectors or open ends. Each configuration has a compressed length of one or two feet, with or without an LED on the plug.

     The robust design of these products starts with the plug. All models have a heavy duty HGN5-15 plug on one end and a C13 socket or no connector on the other end. These versions have an open end that allows the user to connect to any suitable connector. The NEMA 5-15 plug is one of the most durable plugs on the market and can withstand abuse. They have a sturdy ground pin that reduces accidental disconnection due to collision or pulling.

     These new models are made of TPE to ensure that the coils do not stretch out and lose elasticity over time. TPE holds coils better than PVC, providing elasticity. Sheathing grade SJT, suitable for indoor use. Select a plug with or without an LED light that constantly indicates if the plug is properly inserted and receives power. This feature helps to monitor critical equipment at a glance. Right Angle plugs are also an option, especially useful when the power device is close to an outlet.

     The most useful feature of the new winding stretch cable is the coil itself. Such a design allows users to move the device more easily and helps avoid the sudden disconnections that sometimes occur with uncoiled power cords. This new compression coil cable has a smaller footprint and shorter compression length, eliminating the relaxation of unwound cables. Choose 1' line extending to about 8' or 2' line extending to about 15'.
