New AEC-Q200 standard auto - fusible film patch fuse

     VishayIntertechnology introduces new fast fusing film patch fuse -MFU 0603 AT. Vishay BeyschlagMFU 0603 AT meets AEC-Q200 standards and is rated at 0.5 A to 5.0 A for a variety of automotive applications. In addition to low-load circuit protection, the recently announced devices can also be used for voltage detection circuit protection in electric (EV) and hybrid (HEV) vehicle battery management systems. The highly controlled film fabrication process for fuses ensures extremely stable fusing characteristics in these applications.

     The MFU 0603 AT design is solid, homogeneous metal alloy film deposited on the surface of high grade ceramic substrate, and the fuse is coated with electrical, mechanical and weather protection. The high sulfur resistance of the device is in accordance with ASTM B 809 standard, 85 °C/relative humidity 85 % condition, after 1,000 hours of temperature and humidity bias test and thermal shock test.

     Fuse size is 0603, rated voltage up to 63 V, breaking capacity is 50 A, operating temperature range -55 °C to +125 °C. Fuses comply with RoHS and Vishay Green standards, are halogen-free and are suitable for automatic SMD assembly system processing, as well as wave soldering, reflow soldering or gas phase automatic welding.
