NXP expands its automotive access control product range with a new complete solution for keyless systems
NXP Semiconductors announced the introduction of the NJJ29C0 low-frequency transceiver, extending its leadership in automotive security access technology to end-of-vehicle systems. As a longtime leader in advanced keyend design, NXP has now implemented complete system solutions that not only provide longer working distances and greater convenience for end users, but also lower cost, faster time to market, and greater design freedom for automakers and their Tier 1 suppliers.
NXP's new low frequency transceiver NJJ29C0 is the industry's first to integrate a 6-channel Class D low frequency driver, DC/DC boost converter, microcontroller and engine anti-theft reader. Designed for secure keyless access control applications, the NJJ29C0 is easy to import into vehicle electronic control systems and supports increasingly popular features such as welcome lights and automatic lockouts.
NXP has a wealth of automotive access control solutions, and the new low-frequency transceiver NJJ29C0 will match NXP's transponder, microcontroller and RF emission technology. NXP Automotive Access Control solutions support HT3 and AES encryption algorithms for industry-leading security.

The NJJ29C0 transceiver is suitable for keyless automotive systems and has the highest level of integration with six full bridge channels, immobilizers, boost converters and power switches. In addition, the device incorporates a Class D low-frequency driver that delivers higher power supply currents at lower temperatures, improves operating distance and optimizes power efficiency, providing greater design freedom for immobilizer antenna layout.
