Molex introduces EMI adapters with high electromagnetic interference shielding
Molex introduces a new line of multi-port EMI adapters with internal laser-protected shutters. This universal adapter supports several types of connectors including MXC, MTP/MPO, MT and HBMT. This optical EMI shielding adapter is ideal for data communications and networking applications that require I/O density, EMI Containment, fiber routing behind streamlined panels, and Eye Protection.
The adapter has a metal housing with EMI shims that seal the housing to the panel, increasing shielding efficiency and, compared to traditional plastic adapters, improving the aesthetics of the front panel. The internal laser-protected shutter facilitates connector insertion and removal while also providing reliable eye safety protection.
In addition, Molex offers a complete range of industry-standard MTP/MPO and MXC cable assemblies as well as customized FlexPlane and Routed Ribbon solutions to meet the unique cable management needs of each customer.
