Littelfuse introduces DSLP Bias series SIDACtor thyristors
Littelfuse announced the launch of the DSLP Bias Series SOT23-6 SIDACtor protected thyristors (DSLPxxxxT023G6), designed to provide overvoltage protection for broadband communications applications that is superior to other solutions on the market, while minimizing impact on data signal integrity. The patented EpiSCR silicon electric skid technology has capacitive load characteristics that make it ideal for high-bandwidth applications. The technology also provides a stable surge rating of up to 35A(8/20μs). The compact SOT23-6 package features a straight-through lead frame design that helps conserve valuable board space and minimizes footprint on printed board layouts.
Typical applications of the DSLPxxxxT023G6 series SIDACtor protection thyristors include three-level and line-driver side protection for digital subscriber line (DSL) devices that comply with HD-SDI, HD-CVBS, VDSL2, ADSL2, ADSL2+, and G.Speed data transfer standards.
