Lem introduces the new IT xx5 series with ultra-high precision and wide temperature range

     Lem has expanded its range of high-precision current sensors with the announcement of A new series of IT xx5 sensors for non-intrusive isolated access measurement of DC, AC and pulse currents with current ratings from 60 A to 600 A. The new series includes four new models: IT 65-S, IT 205-S, IT 405-S and IT 605-S.

     Compared to previous IT models, the new series extends the operating temperature from +10 to +50°C to -40 to +85°C, enabling a wider range of applications including high-precision power supplies, medical devices, calibration devices, precision high-stability inverters, power analyzers and energy meters.

     These new products feature high performance fluxgate technology with extremely high accuracy and linearity, better than 12ppm over the full temperature range, and have an extremely low zero offset of only 36-400 PPM (depending on the model). Rapid di/dt response times of less than 0.5 µs are achieved thanks to the precise and consistent winding process.

     The IT xx5 series is powered by dual DC +/-15 V power supplies with 26 and 30 mm perforation diameters on the primary side. In addition to its normal current output, the sensor also provides a status indicating output signal and an external LED indicator that indicates normal operation.

     The new IT xx5 series is also fully compatible with the previous Lyme IT series, with the same mounting base. With their small size and a variety of mounting methods (horizontal or vertical), these sensors can be easily installed into old units during maintenance without affecting the insulation of the primary side and measuring circuit.
