Lattice Semiconductor introduces a new iCE40 UltraLite FPGA
Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC), a market leader in ultra-low-power, small-size, customized solutions, today announced the introduction of a new generation iCE40 UltraLite™ FPGA that helps manufacturers add unique, compelling features to their latest mobile devices and accelerate their time-to-market.
As the newest member of the iCE40 Ultra product family, the iCE40 UltraLite FPGA is the industry's most compact and lowest power device. The iCE40 UltraLite FPGA has the advantages of ultra-low power consumption, ultra-small size and high integration to help manufacturers easily add many of the following functions and features to their mobile devices:
● IR remote control and learning mode, can achieve TV remote control function
● RGB LED control can simulate multi-color breathing effect and can be used for notification function
● White LED control enables flash function on smart phone
● Motion gestures reduce the amount of touch required to wake up the device and launch the app
● Extremely low power consumption and ultra-high precision pedometer
● By avoiding the use of inefficient microcontrollers, you can maximize battery life and reduce the frequency of use of surprisingly powerful application processors in devices
