KYOCERA AVX's 9296-400 series connectors come in a compact, high temperature resistant, halogen-free SMT package
KYOCERA AVX's 9296-400 series connectors are designed to enable fast, simple, cost-effective and reliable termination of separate 18 AWG to 26 AWG solid wires, stranded wires, or 1 mm diameter jumper pins for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. The series is available in compact, high-temperature and halogen-free SMT packages with 18 AWG to 26 AWG wire heights and an UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
These connectors offer up to six 2.5mm tinned twin beam phosphobronze contacts in rugged, long-proven 4 mm pitch, and come in eight colors of UL94 V-0 glass-filled nylon housing. They also provide an optional visibility window for visual verification of complete wire insertion, and an optional through-hole option in place of wire stoppers to facilitate fitting with KYOCERA AVX's 10-9296 Series 1 mm diameter jumper pins.
The 9296-400 Series 4 mm pitch horizontal poke-home connector supports simple strip-and-plug poke-home plugins and twist and pull plugins. This makes factory and field termination easy and provides high repeatability, maximum mechanical stability, and highest wire holding strength. These connectors can be used in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, including machine control, commercial buildings, smart grids, and SSL/LED. They are rated for voltages up to 600 VAC(RMS) or VDC, 6 A to 10 A UL and 4 A to 8 A cUL, operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +130°C, and have five-plug and pull cycle durability.
