Infineon Technologies 6ED2742S01Q Pre-regulated three-phase SOI gate driver

Infineon Technologies 6ED2742S01Q 160V Pre-regulated Three-phase Silicon on Insulator (SOI) gate driver features an integrated charge pump, current detection amplifier, overcurrent protection and a kick-up diode. An integrated bootstrapping diode powers three external high-side charging bootstrapping capacitors and uses a trickle charge pump to achieve 100% duty cycle operation.

The 5mm2 QFN-32 package element features undervoltage latching, fault communication, automatic fault clearance and overcurrent protection with configurable thresholds. The output driver has a high pulse current buffer stage designed to minimize driver cross conduction. A current detecting operational amplifier with optional gain is integrated between VSS and COM. The Infineon 6ED2742S01Q gate driver is designed for use in three-phase BLDC motor drive applications.
