Drive innovation in hyperscale AI accelerators with advanced I/O chips

     Alphawave Semi has announced that Rebellions has selected its multiprotocol I/O connectivity chip for its next-generation REBEL product. The partnership will enable Rebellions to provide unprecedented bandwidth for its chipset computing accelerator SOCs.

     The composable AI accelerator created by Rebellions for AI and generative AI workloads in hyperscale data centers will use Alphawave Semi's industry-leading connectivity. Its expertise in interoperable connectivity IP, custom chip designs, and small chips will enable faster progress from specification to composable chips, accelerating time to market.

     The company's advanced I/O chips integrate its PCIe 6.0, CXL 3.1 and Ethernet subsystems with UCIe 2.0 die-to-die connectivity to provide a universal multi-rate, multiprotocol solution for NPU connectivity. This gives Rebellions a low-risk, accelerated development timeline that enables rapid deployment of hyperscale data centers thanks to the silicon-proven capabilities and performance of Alphawave Semi's flexible solutions.

     Alphawave Semi's UCIe subsystem solution is the foundation for REBEL's chip-derived products that enable high-density, energy-efficient mode-to-mode communication. Using technology from Alphawave Semi, the REBEL family includes rebeli /O, which enhances I/O connectivity with the latest Ethernet and PCIe standards with small chips that support. UCIe 2.0.
