Cypress's growing portfolio of PSOCs, MCUS and Bluetooth low power solutions enables IoT developers to accelerate differentiated products to market

For designers of connected devices, from smart appliances to wearable health trackers to factory automation products, the implementation of specific requirements in IoT applications is far more difficult than the implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) interconnection technology. With its extended portfolio of ARM -Cortex-M based PSoC programmable system-on-chip, microcontroller (MCU) and Bluetooth Low Power (BLE) solutions, embedded solutions provider Cypress Semiconductor addresses the diversity of the Internet of Things and common design issues such as time to market and power consumption.

Since the merger with Spansion in March 2015, the Cypress PSoC 4 series has introduced more than 180 new models, and the FM4 and FM0+ flexible microcontroller families developed by Spansion have introduced more than 150 new models. At Embedded World 2016, Cypress continued to expand its product line with the introduction of the PSoC 4 S series for industrial Internet systems, wearable electronics, home appliances and consumer applications. In addition, Cypress also showed a new version of the easy-to-use PSoC Creator Integrated Development Environment (IDE), which supports the FM family of products after FM0+. PSoC Creator enables parallel design of hardware and firmware, which simplifies system design and speeds product to market.
