Cree introduces improved LED light bulbs
As the number of LED bulbs purchased by consumers continues to increase, the quality of their experience becomes more important. The most important characteristics of LED bulbs are light weight, long life and, of course, energy efficiency. Still, some manufacturers seeking cash for the popularity of the technology are pushing LED bulbs with the same performance, longevity and light quality as CFLS. by contrast, CREE (Nasdaq: CREE) introduced a better LED bulb. Unlike damaged bulbs, new Cree LED bulbs offer a better light with better performance, longer service life and more energy efficiency.

In keeping with Cree's belief that customers should not compromise, New Cree LED bulbs are built on delivering color quality, light output and dimming true LED performance. It has an improved life span of over 27 years (30,000 hours) and lasts up to six times longer than some LED bulbs. The proven 4Flow™ filament design ensures that it looks and lights like a traditional incandescent lamp. The new bulbs also offer consumers 83 to better display color, true to the Energy Star standard's omni-distribution omni-light high color rendering index, and are fully adjustable with most standard dimmers, suitable for enclosed lamps. Cree LED bulbs are available with 460 lumens for a 40-watt replacement and 815 lumens for a 60-watt replacement in soft white (2700K) and durable, shatterproof housing within the daylight (5000K) color gently consumes only 85% of the energy * over their life cycle.
