CUI Inc introduces New isolated DC-DC converters for multiple applications
CUI Inc. has announced two new chassis DC-DC converters for consumer, industrial, and iot applications. The converters are available in two options: the PST50W series with a 50W power isolated output and the PST75W series with a 75W power isolated output.
Both DC-DC converters offer 4200VDC isolation and 8:1 input range (9.5-75), and are available in open and closed versions with a choice of 12, 15, 24, and 28 output voltages. The product is installed in a case mounting package with an extended operating temperature range of -40 ° C to +105 ° C and features short-circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage, overmild and undervoltage locking protection.
With reinforced insulation, the converter is EN/IEC 62368 certified and complies with UL 62368 power supply standard. With a built-in EMI filter and baseplate - no longer required to be purchased separately by customers - as well as remote on/off control, the converter is a reliable choice for electric vehicle charging and industrial and remote telecommunications applications such as cellular towers. In addition, the converters comply with EN 50155 and EN 45545–2 standards, making them ideal for railway design.
