CML's low-power cascaded MMIC gain modules are suitable for a variety of wireless applications

CML Microcircuits' CMX90G301/2 is a low-power 50Ω cascaddable MMIC gain module for a wide range of wireless applications operating in the 1.4GHz to 7.1GHz frequency range. The gain module has a positive gain slope of C over the entire band without equalization and compensates for system losses as frequency increases.

The CMX90G301/2 is highly integrated and easy to use, minimizing the number of components and board area. Rf ports are matched on the chip to 50 Ω and isolated DC containers. An active bias circuit is configured to allow the device to operate in a wide supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 5 V, with a typical current of 20 mA. GaAs pHEMT provides a combination of low DC power, low noise, and high gain.
