Bourns' high power thick diaphragm resistors are now compliant with AEC-Q200 standards and meet automotive requirements

Bourns' product line of resistors now includes CRM-Q, CRS-Q, CMP-Q and CHP-Q models with thick diaphragm resistors, expanding its portfolio of high-power, surface-mounted thick diaphragm resistors. These Q Series models are AEC-Q200 compatible/automotive grade versions of Bourns existing CRM, CRS, CMP and CHP model families of thick diaphragm type resistors.

These resistors are made using thick-film elements printed on a ceramic substrate. They have high reliability and are suitable for consumer electronics, industrial automation, power, LED lighting applications and communications base stations. High power ratings and superior pulse load capability make them ideal for current limiter, buffer circuits, and balance and drain resistors.
