Analog Devices Power Management integrated circuit (PMIC) used to drive sensors, remote power supplies, and local power supplies

Analog Devices LT3092 is a programmable 2-terminal current source that requires only two resistors to set output current between 0.5 mA and 200 mA. This current source is stable, has no input and output capacitors, and provides high DC and AC impedance, a feature that allows operation in essentially safe applications. Set pins with 1% initial accuracy and low temperature coefficient. From 1.5 V to 40 V, current regulation is better than 10ppm /V.

The LT3092 can operate on a series signal line in a 2-terminal current source configuration. The internal protection circuit includes reverse battery and reverse current protection, current limiting and heat limiting. The LT3092 is offered in an 8-pin TSOT-23, 3-pin SOT-223 and 8-pin 3mm x 3mm DFN package. The LT3092 is ideal for driving sensors, remote power sources, and as a precision current limiting local power source.
