Amphenol Piher's PSCM multi-turn rotary sensor

Amphenol Piher Sensing Systems' PSCM is a non-contact multi-turn rotating position sensor based on Hall effect technology, which is a cost-effective alternative to absolute encoders. It is also well suited for replacing drawstring encoders by converting linear motion into angular position. In the case of power failure, the sensor will retain the last measured position.

This compact yet rugged sensor can be configured for an Angle range between 720° and 11.520° (up to 32 RPM) and supports both low and high voltage power supplies. The different available output protocols (analog, PWM, CAN J1939, CAN Open) allow integration into a variety of systems. Connector assemblies are available upon request. High levels of entry protection, vibration and temperature resistance make it ideal for the extreme environments of industrial, off-highway and transport applications.
