In the realm of AI data center and automotive engine applications, Allegro’s most recent offerings, CT455 and CT456, provide exceptional bandwidth and minimal noise, therefore facilitating accurate current measurements.

Currently, the dominant market applications utilize sensor modules that are large, invasive, and inefficient. Consequently, these solutions normally lack the appropriate level of precision and resolution and are susceptible to possible system malfunctions. These limitations might give rise to significant design intricacies for engineers, which frequently result in escalated expenses and extended manufacturing duration.

Allegro’s enhanced current sensors, utilizing XtremeSense TMR technology, effectively tackle the obstacles encountered by engineers by offering exceptional magnetic sensitivity, little power consumption, and a small form factor in comparison to alternative alternatives. The CT455 sensor is capable of detecting and converting magnetic fields into a linear analog output voltage within two predefined field ranges. On the other hand, the CT456 sensor is designed to operate within a predetermined field range of 6 mT. In contrast to other solutions available in the market, our latest TMR sensors provide unique benefits. They are specifically engineered to facilitate smaller, more efficient, and highly accurate current measurements on PCB or Busbar applications.
