Advanced low-power wireless single-chip system Avastar

     Marvell, a global leader in semiconductor solutions for storage, cloud infrastructure, Internet of Things (IoT), connectivity and multimedia applications, announced the Avastar 88W8977, an advanced low-power wireless system-on-a-chip (SoC). Combining Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 capabilities (with further support for Bluetooth 5.0), the chip targets the wearable, IoT, and smart home markets with small sizes and low BOM requirements.
