AMC1400-Q1 automotive enhanced isolation amplifier with high CMTI

     Texas Instruments' AMC1400-Q1 is a compact isolation amplifier that uses a highly anti-jamming isolation gate to isolate the output from the input circuit. The isolator provides enhanced current isolation up to 7.5 kVRMS and supports operating voltages up to 2 kVRMS, as certified by DIN EN IEC 60747-17 (VDE 0884-17) and UL1577. Isolation grids separate parts of the system that operate at different common-mode voltage levels and protect the low-voltage side from voltages that can cause electrical damage or be harmful to the operator.

     The AMC1400-Q1 input is optimized for direct connection to a low-impedance shunt resistor or other low-impedance voltage source with a low signal level. Its excellent DC accuracy and low temperature drift support accurate current control in power factor correction (PFC) stages, DC/DC converters, traction inverters, and other applications that must operate in high common-mode voltages, high altitudes, or high pollution environments. The amplifier comes in an extended 8-pin SOIC package that complies with the AEC-Q100 standard for automotive applications and supports temperatures ranging from -40°C to +125°C.
