A capacitor with outstanding electrical properties
KEMET's PHA227 and PHH227 hybrid axial capacitors feature a polarized all-welded design with tinned copper wire leads with negative terminals connected to the housing. The winding is housed in a cylindrical aluminum can with a high purity aluminum lid and high quality rubber gaskets.
The low ESR uses a highly conductive polymer (PEDOT/PSS) and an all-welded design. The polymer system creates an electrical path between the anode oxide layer and the cathode by mechanically separating the paper. The windings are impregnated with liquid electrolytes, resulting in the capacitor's self-healing properties. Mechanical sturdiness is suitable for automotive and industrial applications.
