2 W DC/DC converter provided by Flex Power Modules

The Flex Power Modules PUC-BG series DC/DC converters are packaged with the industry standard SIP7, fully enclosed and through-hole mount, and provide 2 W output power. They include nominal 12 V, 15 V, and 24 V inputs and provide a range of dual-way unregulated outputs for asymmetric positive and negative grid drive voltages in a variety of semiconductor switches, including IGBTs, GaN, and silicon and silicon carbide MosFeTs.

Unlike many similar products on the market, the Pu-BG series features 6.2 kVDC isolated enhanced insulation up to 250 VAC operating voltage, complying with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 safety certification. The PU-BG series is ideal for isolated high-side grid drive power supplies with a low isolation capacitance (usually less than 6 pF) that prevents excessive circulating current under high dV/dt common in typical bridge applications such as motor drives and inverters.

The product is rated from -40°C to +100°C ambient temperature (with derated) and provides full power at +85°C in convective cooling environments. This performance is achieved by efficient designs that typically reach 80%. These components have no minimum load requirement and provide continuous short-circuit protection.
